Academic dishonesty should be handled differently when it comes to the programming class because programming language depends on the data sets and in this case the chances are on the higher side that students can get themselves into the plagiarizing thing. Harvard Professor David J. Malan does the right thing with the students because each student is aware of the outcome of the academic dishonesty and if they still engage in such practice, they need to get their results.
